Bob Dylan is gearing up for a busy (late) summer:
-His new CD, Bob Dylan: Live at the Gaslight 1962, will be sold exclusivelyat Starbucks beginning in August, echoing the similar deal behind Alanis Morissette’s acousticre-recording of Jagged Little Pill, not to mention Dylan’s own deal last yearwith Victoria’s Secret.
-Martin Scorsese’s much-anticipated documentary, NoDirection Home: Bob Dylan, debuts on PBS in September.
-To accompany the movie,Sony is releasing a soundtrack album and another concert from the vault.
-The paperback version of Dylan’s memoir, Chronicles: Volume One, will hit bookstore shelves around that time.
And if he wants to use it, Dylan’s already got a ready-made song for the Starbucks ad campaign: ”One More Cup of Coffee.”
