”I’m always trying to top the last tour whenever I go out,” Eminem said in a statement, announcing this summer’s Anger Management 3 Tour. ”I think we’re really doing it this time.” He may be right. The lineup for the tour includes 50 Cent, Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, 50’s posse G-Unit, Em’s D12 crew, and Em protégés Obie Trice and Stat Quo. The tour includes 24 U.S. dates, starting July 7 in Noblesville, Ind., and winding down with two nights in Eminem and D12’s hometown of Detroit, on Aug. 12 and 13.

Slim Shady, who’s nothing if not a shrewd businessman, will be cross-promoting the trek via Shade 45, his satellite radio channel on Sirius, which will air exclusive live tracks and backstage interviews throughout the tour. He’s also releasing a DVD of the original Anger Management Tour from 2002.

”Right now, I don’t see anything that will stop this from being the tour of the summer,” MTV News quotes 50 as saying. ”You better put in for that time off from the job now before somebody else beats you to it. Or quit your job so you can see every show.” C’mon, kids, it’ll be just like a Dead tour! Only without the burritos and patchouli!
