Author Trevor Romain transfers the self-empowerment philosophy of his books to an animated series featuring 12-year-old Skye and her friend Jack. Romain gives them advice, mostly as a voice off screen, as they deal with such challenges as bullies, homework, and death. Despite its stylized dialogue that some-times seems stilted, these fast-paced episodes candy-coat the messages with fun.
