The two most overworked genres in TV history — the lawyer drama and reality TV — will come together in David E. Kelley’s (The Practice) first foray into unscripted territory. With three days’ prep, 12 attorneys will argue cases and be critiqued by famed legal eagle Roy Black. The one who evades dismissal will win a $250,000 settlement. Promises Black, who has taken part in such cases as the William Kennedy Smith rape trial: ”There are things that went on in these trials that even David Kelley couldn’t have scripted.”
