''Survivor: Palau'' cast unveiled -- A trio of contestants will be sent packing in the first episode

So, did you hear the one about the Vegas showgirl, the dolphin trainer, and the three attorneys? They’ll be among the 20 people competing for a $1 million prize when Survivor: Palau premieres February 17 on CBS.

Not surprisingly, the network revealed there’ll be new wrinkles in the latest season of the long-running, high-rated reality show. For starters, three contestants will have their torches extinguished by the end of the first episode. And, according to CBS, ”everything the Survivors have come to expect will be wiped out in the first 10 minutes.”

The players stranded amidst the 83 Pacific islands that once played home to a number of major World War II battles range in age from 22 to 57, and are evenly divided among men and women. They include:
