Jude Law, the hardest-working man in show business, has yet another production in the works: a wedding. The two-time Oscar-nominated actor, who appeared in six films this past fall, popped the question to girlfriend Sienna Miller on Christmas Day, the BBC reports. A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the news to the U.K. Sun, telling the paper, ”It’s true they are engaged. Jude has bought Sienna a big cluster diamond ring.” No date or venue has been announced, though London’s Evening Standard quotes Miller as saying they want to wed ”as soon as possible.”

Law, currently on screen in Closer, The Aviator, and Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, popped the question three days before Miller’s 23rd birthday and four days before his 32nd birthday. They met during the production of Law’s 2004 remake of Alfie, in which the American-born actress played one of the title cad’s conquests. It’s the first marriage for Miller, the second for Law, who was married from 1997 until 2003 to actress and fashion designer Sadie Frost, with whom he fathered three children. According to the Evening Standard, Frost has issued a statement, saying, ”I’m delighted for Jude and Sienna and wish them all the best for the future.”
