MODEL 101 Supermodel, phone abuser…professor? Naomi Campbell arrived a diva-ish half hour late to lead a Nov. 9 class at NYC’s Learning Annex. The course description promised that students — a mix of Bergdorf blondes and men old enough to be Campbell’s father — would learn how to ”[achieve] what you want” and to ”keep a positive mind-set even when surrounded by negative.” In between moderator John Moore’s softball questions (”How were you discovered?”), his dismissal of student queries (”Oh, I can’t ask you that!”), and his gushing (”It’s amazing how incredibly amazing and iconic you are!”), we were left with these pearls of wisdom.

NAOMI ON BALANCED DIETS ”I don’t eat fish on Sundays because I don’t believe the fish market’s open on Sunday.”

ON IMPERFECTION ”I get pimples!”

ON WORLD EVENTS ”I think Vanity Fair has named [my birthday party] an event.”

ON WARDROBE MALFUNCTIONS ”I felt bad for Tara Reid. It’s happened to me. I’ve lost my top. I’ve lost my skirt. It’s part of being a woman.”
