A look at Mean Girls’ wicked ancestors

In Mean Girls, a posse of popular kids hate on Lindsay Lohan (right) by, among other things, framing her for filling a ”burn book” with nasty rumors. But Mean is just the latest inductee in the cutthroat pantheon of big-screen bullying. Here, some classic high school evildoing.

CARRIE (1976) A timid girl gets doused with pig’s blood, goes all pyro at the prom.

MY BODYGUARD (1980) Thugs thieve lunch money, but face victim’s misunderstood mercenary.

HEATHERS (1989) A catty clique of like-named teens socially crucify classmates, end up dead.

THE CRAFT (1996) A coven of young witches use powers for evil — then turn on one of their own.
