After a 10-year absence, the clown prince of hip-hop is back with another album of thick-tongued rhymes and extremely out of tune crooning. His quirk comes on early: Markie references Spuds MacKenzie and Thumbelina in the party-starting opener (”Tear S — – Up”) and then dives into ”Chinese Food,” a very un-PC ode to greasy Asian takeout. Nothing revolutionary (or relevant, for that matter) about this one, just plenty of juvenile jokes and old-school beats designed for the aging B-boy set.
