Blood in My Eye
Beef lovers will be glad to know that, yes, Ja Rule dishes out plenty of vitriol toward 50 Cent (or, as he calls him, ”Two Quarters”), Eminem, and Dr. Dre on his fourth album, a quickie that seems solely designed to counter his pop-friendly, thug-lite reputation. The problem is that Ja was always better at R&B relationship rap than hardcore hip-hop, making this a dull slog with a dearth of hooks and a surfeit of gangsta cliches. Advantage, 50 Cent.
