(All consoles; Ubisoft; Teen)

Jade, the heroine of this highly anticipated adventure title, is one of the most appealing female videogame characters since Lara Croft, though she’s only half as skilled and 10 times less curvaceous than her relic-hunting colleague. But armed with a camera with a zoom lens, the plucky investigative reporter slowly unravels some shady business deals that are taking place on her watery home planet of Hyllis. For the most part, this game plays like a kid’s TV show with buttons: albeit one that is finely crafted and colorfully animated. And while Jade may not be a busty tomb raider, she is the kind of gal you’ll feel good about bringing home to the family.
