Megan Mullally elopes on eve of Emmys. The ''Will & Grace'' star marries younger actor boyfriend Nick Offerman
Megan Mullally didn’t win an Emmy on Sunday, but she had already claimed her prize. Saturday night, the ”Will & Grace” star and longtime boyfriend Nick Offerman tied the knot in Los Angeles, with just a few family members and friends (including Mullally’s costars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, and Sean Hayes) in attendance.
Shelley Morrison, who plays Mullally’s maid on the show but who did not attend the wedding, spilled the beans about the nuptials to reporters backstage at the Emmys. Morrison told TV’s ”Extra” that even Mullally’s mother didn’t know about the wedding in advance; she had flown to Los Angeles thinking she was just there to be her daughter’s Emmys guest. (Mullally, nominated for the fourth consecutive time this year, won for her ”Will & Grace” role in 2000.)
Mullally, 44, and Offerman, 33, met three years ago when they costarred in a play in Los Angeles. They got engaged last year. It’s the second marriage for Mullally (who was previously married to talent agent Michael Katcher) and the first for Offerman.
