In what is shaping up to be the most beautiful cast of the year, Benjamin Bratt has signed on to star opposite Halle Berry in ”Catwoman.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former ”Law & Order” gumshoe will again wear a badge and gun as detective Tom Lone, a love interest for Berry’s Patience Price, who is secretly the feline antiheroine of the title.

In the Batman-less take on the character, Price/Catwoman fights the machinations of two evil cosmetics magnates, Laurel (Sharon Stone) and her husband Georges (Lambert Wilson, who played the Merovingian in ”The Matrix Reloaded”). Single-monickered French director Pitof begins shooting Sept. 29.
