Kevin Costner is teeing off again. The ”Tin Cup” star is planning another golf-themed romantic comedy, Variety reports. The actor, whose Western ”Open Range” opens on Aug. 15, even has a putting partner lined up: Michelle Pfeiffer.

The film is called ”Taming Ben Taylor.” It’s a remake of an Italian comedy from the 1980s about a lovelorn vintner (Costner’s role) who finds romance with a tough-minded Realtor (Pfeiffer’s role) who aims to turn his winery into a golf course. In other words, the story is only tangentially about golf, which is good news for viewers whose eyes glaze over at the thought of watching Costner and Pfeiffer replace divots.
