Jewel, who famously lived in a van before she found stardom, may be living in a tour bus for much of the next few months. The folkie-turned-dance diva will be spending a lot of time on TV and on the road over the next few weeks. Billboard reports that she’s announced an extensive fall tour in support of her album ”0304,” beginning with a leg of 21 dates throughout the East Coast and the Midwest. Starting Sept. 19 in North Charleston, S.C., and ending Oct. 18 in Minneapolis, the tour will take the singer through amphitheaters and concert halls in such cities as Atlanta, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Toronto, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Chicago, and Milwaukee.

Jewel will also turn up on the small screen. On Aug. 6, she’ll perform on NBC’s ”The Tonight Show” for the second time in as many months. On Aug. 13, she’ll sing on the WB’s new weekly music series, ”Pepsi Smash.”
