Has Ashton Kutcher been punk’d? He claims a recent interview in a British newspaper fabricated a quote attributed to him regarding current squeeze Demi Moore, and that if the paper doesn’t apologize he may sue. The piece, published July 7 in London’s Evening Standard, has the 25-year-old Kutcher explaining his attraction to Moore, 40, by saying, ”She was the hottest actress in Hollywood when I was growing up. I was in love with her when I was 10. Now it’s great, I’m f—ing her.”

According to the New York Daily News, Kutcher’s spokesperson says the Evening Standard ”simply made up” the quote, and if the paper ”fails to provide Mr. Kutcher with an appropriate retraction and apology, he will evaluate all of his legal options.” Even Jane Bussmann, the writer whose byline appears on the article, says the quote is a fabrication and wants an apology herself, the Daily News reports. The Evening Standard hasn’t commented on the allegations, but it has removed the article from its website.
