Comedian Eddie Griffin (DysFunKtional Family) is ready to voice Babe the Blue Ox in Paul Bunyan, a part-CGI, part-live-action flick about the ax man. Heather Graham (From Hell) is also in talks to join the cast…. A new Old School? Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman’s company has signed a gangbusters production deal with DreamWorks. First up: a projected sequel to this year’s Will Ferrell frat comedy…. Olivier Martinez, Unfaithful’s sexy beast, is joining Angelina Jolie (Playing by Heart) in a serial-killer flick, Taking Lives…. A mighty wind has blown Parker Posey (Personal Velocity) into Laws of Attraction, a divorce-attorney comedy starring Julianne Moore and Pierce Brosnan.

TELEVISION If Steven Spielberg does it, it must be cool. Director Bryan Singer (X2: X-Men United) and producer Dean Devlin (Godzilla) will water-ski in the Taken maven’s wake by developing Triangle, a miniseries about the Bermuda Triangle, for the Sci Fi Channel.

MUSIC They weren’t kidding about that win-a-recording-contract thing. American Idol Ruben Studdard was signed by J Records’ Clive Davis, who appeared on the Idol finale. The Velvet Teddy Bear’s debut is due in September.
