Most artists wait until well into their careers to release a live album, but Avril Lavigne is putting hers out this fall. Launch.com reports that the Canadian pop-punk princess, who has just one studio album under her belt, will release a live CD on Sept. 9 as well as a DVD of concert and backstage footage from her current ”Try to Shut Me Up” tour.

Watch for the DVD to include a clip of Lavigne’s performance last week in Massachusetts, in which the teen queen was joined by pop-Lolita-loving Fred Durst. The Limp Bizkit frontman wore an ”I [heart] Avril” T-shirt, duetted with her on ”Complicated,” and gave her a piggyback ride, according to MTV. No word yet on whether Durst will start writing gooey messages about Avril on his website.
