Jackass hotdogger Johnny Knoxville is developing an as-yet-untitled comedy about L.A. hot dog vendors; Jerry Stahl (Permanent Midnight) may write the script.

MUSIC Tongue-wagging hard-rockers KISS are launching Kiss Records; the label will debut, naturally, with a two-disc KISS live set.

TELEVISION The Eyes of Nye is nigh: Kids’ host Bill Nye the Science Guy is prepping Eyes, a family science show, for PBS this fall…. There’ll be a whole lotta shakin’ going on — four hours’ worth — in 10.5, a just-OK’ed NBC miniseries about a monster West Coast earthquake.
