It was a big weekend for Jules Asner, host of E!’s celebrity profile show ”Revealed.” Not only did the former Elite model get married to her longtime boyfriend, Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh, but she also quit her job, the New York Post reports. She’s developing her own syndicated daytime talk show, with an eye toward a debut next year.

Asner had cut back on her E! duties since moving to New York last fall to spend more time with the ”Erin Brockovich” director. On Saturday, they were married by a justice of the peace in Soderbergh’s Manhattan apartment, before a small group of friends and family, including ABC’s Diane Sawyer and her husband, director Mike Nichols, the Post reports.

It’s the second marriage for Asner (whose age is given as 33 or 35, depending on the source), who was married to Matthew Asner from 1992-96. It’s also the second marriage for Soderbergh, 40, who was divorced from actress Betsy Brantley in 1994 and has a 12-year-old daughter, Sarah, by her. It’s likely that the couple will be honeymooning on the French Riviera, since Soderbergh is on the awards jury at the Cannes Film Festival, which starts Wednesday night.
