Jennifer Garner’s next movie is called ”Happy Endings,” but life is not imitating art. Six weeks after their separation, Garner is filing for divorce from Scott Foley, E! Online reports. According to court papers filed Monday, she cited irreconcilable differences, adding little explanation as to the reason behind their two-and-a-half year marriage’s public implosion.

Gossips have speculated that the reason is their ”A Star Is Born” career trajectories. When they met on the set of ”Felicity” in 1998, he was the rising star; now she’s the bigger name, with ”Alias” and ”Daredevil” under her belt. (NBC recently canceled Foley’s short-lived sitcom ”A.U.S.A.”; his next project is the werewolf movie ”Cursed.”) Rumors also flew that she was seeing ”Alias” costar Michael Vartan, but their spokespeople have insisted that they are just friends.
