Sharon Osbourne may have gotten a clean bill of health recently after nine months of cancer treatment, but she was back in the hospital over the weekend, thanks to injuries sustained in a brawl, her publicist said. The altercation was with Renee Tab, the agent Sharon had accused of stealing a diamond-and-sapphire necklace, the prize at a raffle at the Osbournes’ New Year’s Eve party.

The metal matriarch and her family were having dinner at Koi, a Beverly Hills sushi restaurant, on Thursday when she ran into Tab. Words and blows were exchanged, and Sharon was taken to a hospital, her spokeswoman, Lisa Vega, told the New York Post. ”We cannot give out any details about the injuries she suffered, but she was released and is feeling better,” Vega said.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, both parties filed police reports against the other. While Vega says Tab ”viciously assaulted” Osbourne, Tab’s lawyer, Najila Brink, says that Sharon struck first as Tab was leaving the eatery. Brink says Osbourne also called Tab ”a thief” and spat at her and kicked her sister, Candace. Tab has filed a restraining order against Osbourne, and their lawyers are due to face off in court on Tuesday.

The enmity between Osbourne and Tab stems from the New Year’s Eve party at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Sharon and Ozzy marked their 20th anniversary by renewing their vows. When Tab won the jewelry raffle, Sharon called her a party-crasher, accused her of stealing raffle tickets to rig the drawing, and demanded the return of the gems. Tab said she was the date of an invited guest and had won the raffle fair and square, and refused to give the necklace back. No word on whether we’ll see any of this dispute on the upcoming third season of ”The Osbournes,” which begins in June.
