While the rest of us were focusing on the Middle East or the Oscars, Liv Tyler snuck off and got married. Her publicist announced Wednesday that Tyler and Spacehog frontman Royston Langdon were wed on March 25 at a villa in the Caribbean. The two will have a reception for family and friends next month in New York, the spokesman said.

It’s the first marriage for the 25-year-old ”Lord of the Rings” actress and the 30-year-old British-born glam rocker, but Langdon is hardly the first rock singer in Tyler’s life. The daughter of Bebe Buell and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Liv spent her early childhood under the impression that Buell’s then-boyfriend Todd Rundgren was her dad. No word on what Steven Tyler thinks about having another rocker for a son-in-law, but he’s had plenty of time to get used to the idea, since his daughter and Langdon have been a couple for nearly five years.
