Halle Berry, who may be the most overbooked woman in show business, is adding another project to her already crowded dance card, according to the Hollywood Reporter. This one is a TV movie that Oprah Winfrey is producing for ABC. It’s an adaptation of Zora Neale Hurston’s classic 1937 novel ”Their Eyes Were Watching God.”

In the TV movie, Berry would play Janie Crawford, a free-spirited woman who scandalizes her small Florida town. Shooting would begin this summer with an eye toward airing next season. It would mark Berry’s second starring role in an ”Oprah Winfrey Presents” movie for ABC, after 1998’s ”The Wedding.” Of course, that was before Berry won an Oscar and found herself so much in demand that she attached her name to about eight more movies in development. Still, one doesn’t easily say no to Oprah.
