Junior Patrons of the Arts Amherst, Mass., is where the wild things are. Eric Carle, author of kids (and George W. Bush) favorite The Very Hungry Caterpillar, has opened the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art there, a 40,000-square-foot gallery devoted to art from children’s books.
