Halloween: Resurrection

How is it that Michael Myers is back after being dispatched in 1998’s ”Halloween: H20”? Alas, his sister Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) killed the wrong guy. Laurie pays for that mistake, and so do we, in Halloween: Resurrection, the eighth installment of a once-original series. Too infrequently does the spectacle of fame-famished coeds meeting their gruesome ends glimmer with signs of fun, campy perversion. Note to studio: We’ll forget the painful overacting of Rhymes (”Yo, Mike, come see me”) if you can provide us with a copy of Mr. Myers’ death certificate.
