In the world of tomorrow, everyone will have fabulous cheekbones. Or at least they will in ”The World of Tomorrow,” a science fiction adventure that will reunite ”The Talented Mr. Ripley” stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law. According to the Hollywood Reporter, they’ll shoot the movie in London in February.

”Tomorrow,” helmed by first-time writer/director Kerry Conran, actually takes place yesterday. Producers describe it as ”retro sci-fi,” in the vein of the ”Indiana Jones” movies, set at the dawn of the 20th century. Paltrow and Law play a reporter and a pilot who team up on an unspecified adventure. Law and wife Sadie Frost are also serving as coproducers of the film.

Even though the filmmakers are traveling back in time, they still won’t have the first high-profile ”retro sci-fi” project to hit theaters. That’ll be the Victorian Era-set ”The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen,” with Sean Connery, which opens in summer 2003.
