This languorous hip-hop love tune is a classic example of how two artists aren’t always better than one. Sharp rapper Common comes off as a dull-witted bore, delivering simplistic rhymes that seem ripped from a ”Rap 101” textbook. And fiery Mary J. Blige is disappointingly subdued as she croons the droning chorus. About as seductive as a rash.
