Nourmand’s comprehensive collection of exquisite placards (he includes Bond posters made for foreign markets) and neat factoids (did you know that Roger Moore appears 13 times on an Octopussy one-sheet because that was the 13th Bond film?) makes a good case. “Legacy,” on the other hand, sets its sights on 40 years of the franchise’s legal disputes and casting chaos while showcasing hundreds of for-your-eyes-only photos (check out villain Christopher Lee, chilling between kills with a beverage and a babe). Art or not, the books belong on any coffee table — or martini tray.
