GUNGRAVE

Part Chow Yun-Fat, part John Wayne, the swashbuckling star of Gungrave wears a cowboy hat and totes a pair of insanely potent pistols — the ones that never, ever run out of ammo. Normally, this would be enough for the good guy to make quick work of the bad guys. This good guy, however, also lugs a bulky coffin that, for reasons not immediately apparent, doubles as a machine gun and rocket launcher. Sure, it’s overkill, but the all-you-can-eat buffet of bullets, explosions, and mayhem has an elegant anime look that makes it a must-play East-meets-Western.
