SUCKING UP

Wesley Snipes sliced and diced his way to the top of this week’s charts in Blade II as the Marvel Comics-inspired half-man, half-vamp hero who picks off bloodsuckers while wearing the most stylin’ leather duds this side of a German biker rally. The film was the week’s lone rental premiere, but DVD buyers got a second Snipes sampling with the rerelease of the original 1998 Blade. Which, for fans of the undead, was bloody brilliant.
