Justin Timberlake fan killed by hit-and-run driver. A drunk driver plows into a crowd of fans outside a radio station where the 'N Sync star was making an appearance

On Monday night, as the ‘N Sync was at a Burbank, Calif., radio station promoting his upcoming solo record, a drunk driver in a pickup truck allegedly backed deliberately into the crowd waiting outside on the sidewalk, killing Anne White, 21, according to published reports.

Police said that Cameron Duty, 23, had been arguing with some of the two dozen Timberlake fans on the sidewalk outside station KIIS-FM, though apparently not with White. Police said Duty then deliberately backed into the crowd, pinning White under his truck, and then pulled away, dragging White for a block before she fell into the street. He was caught later and charged with murder, leaving the scene of an accident, and drunk driving. He was being held on $1 million bail.

The ‘N Sync singer was ”horrified to learn of the senseless death,” he said in a statement. ”My family and I wish to express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victim.”
