GREEK WEEK

In the worst sum-mer frame since 1998, freshman pledges got hazed by moviegoers. (Slap a couple of propeller beanies on No. 6 Serving Sara and No. 9 Simone.) Remarkably, in a season during which blockbusters tend to reign briefly before flunking out, Signs returned to No. 1 in its fourth weekend, while My Big Fat Greek Wedding finally busted into the top 5 in its 19th week of release. So it’s hereby official: The little ouzo-fueled sleeper has become a big fat summer hit, jumping 27 percent from week 18. Opa!
