Between its cluttered appearance and enough annoying sound effects to cause a Shockwave meltdown, visiting the movie’s official website is like being trapped in a small attic with a Ritalin-deprived 5-year-old. Take the ”Slapping Dummy” game, which invites visitors to exchange blows with a human-size robot — and is just one of the many ways visitors can waste both minutes and brain cells. Dana Carvey, the film’s star, pops up in a number of disguises, any one of which may induce some major SNL flashbacks. As for spending too much time at the site: Wouldn’t be prudent.
