MEN IN BLACK II

The suits and ties are back, the toothy sponge-ball aliens are back, and Messrs. Smith and Jones are back, saving the world without cracking a facial expression. Men in Black II achieves ultimate insignificance — it’s the sci-fi comedy as Wiffle-ball epic. The otherworldly-spectacle jokes are still there, but not the goosey comic zest.
