THE CHARTS
‘MIND’ CONTROL It’s Oscar week on the video chart, as a pair of big winners from March woo both renters and buyers alike. Best Picture winner A Beautiful Mind–the tortured-math-whiz biopic from Best Director Ron Howard and Best Actor nominee Russell Crowe–takes its place at the top of both the VHS and DVD heaps. Meanwhile, Gosford Park, the British murder mystery that won Best Original Screenplay, curtsies its way into the top 10. Clearly, there’s gold in them thar shelves.
