CHER is promising this will be her last tour, after which fans will have to make do with the many drag queens who impersonate her. But for the next few months, you can still get Cher instead of Cher Alike: Her 48-date arena tour opens June 14 in Toronto and closes Sept. 15 in Minneapolis.

Thanks to the “ongoing personal problems” of bassist Howie Epstein, TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS have brought original member Ron Blair back into the fold. They drag hearts–and a lot of equipment–around starting June 27 in Grand Rapids, Mich., wrapping up just before Labor Day in Concord, Calif.

JOHN MAYER, who recently shared a club-tour bill with Norah Jones, finds his star rising to solo-headliner level. His tour kicks off June 24 in Vancouver and continues through an Aug. 18 finish in San Diego.
