THE ‘WIND’ DONE GOOD
Readers went gold-digging this week for Tony Hillerman’s Southwestern mystery. The Wailing Wind (315,000 copies in print after four pressruns), the 15th installment of his Leaphorn & Chee series, debuts at No. 5. In nonfiction, Michael J. Fox’s Lucky Man (705,000 after four pressruns) jumps six spots to No. 1. Also feeling lucky this week is comedienne Fran Drescher, who lends further nanny appeal to the best-seller list. Her memoir Cancer Schmancer debuts at a healthy No. 15.
