We've got the odds on ''Celebrity Boxing.'' Here's why you shouldn't count out Screech or pint-size gymnast Olga Korbut

Just when we’d recovered from watching Danny Patridge (Danny Bonaduce) beat the snot out of Greg Brady (Barry Williams), ”Celebrity Boxing” is back (Wed., 8:30 p.m., on Fox) with a whole new batch of attention-starved pugilists.

The sophomore smackdown will feature pseudo-stars of the small screen (”Welcome Back Kotter”’s Ron ”Horshack” Palillo, ”Saved by the Bell”’s Dustin ”Screech” Diamond), the tabloids (”Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire” whiner Darva Conger, Long Island Lolita lover Joey Buttafuoco) and the wild world of sports (former WWF wrestler Joanie Laurer, a.k.a. Chyna, Olympic gymnast-turned-shoplifter Olga Korbut, basketball pro Manute Bol, and NFL monolith William ”The Refrigerator” Perry).

Although some pairings seem more jokey than sporting (Bol vs. Perry?), that’s not likely to alienate viewers. The first ”Celebrity Boxing” lured 15.5 million gawkers, some of the highest ratings Fox has seen this season. For those itching for a second helping of awkward flailing and flabby midriffs, check out EW.com’s winning picks.
