EXPECTING A little Depp’ll do ya. Johnny Depp, 38, and French singer-actress Vanessa Paradis, 29, will greet their second child in June….Jenny McCarthy, 29, and director hubby John Asher (Diamonds), 31, expect their first child in June.

AILING Shaken, not standing. On Feb. 15, Pierce Brosnan, 48, hurt his knee during an underwater action sequence on the London-area set of Bond 20. A spokeswoman for EON Productions says filming will be delayed for two weeks while he mends.

COURTS He feels good! On Feb. 19, an L.A. jury ruled that James Brown, 68, did not sexually harass former employee Lisa Ross Agbalaya, 34, as she had alleged in a $2 million civil suit. The jury, however, decided that James Brown Enterprises wrongfully fired Agbalaya in 1999. The court hasn’t ruled on damages….On Feb. 14, Sylvester Stallone, 55, sued his former business manager, Kenneth Starr (not the ex-Whitewater prosecutor), for giving bad advice — including urging him in the mid-’90s to keep 3.9 million shares of Planet Hollywood stock despite the restaurant chain’s rocky outlook. (Planet filed for bankruptcy in 1999.) He is seeking at least $17 million in losses and damages. Starr’s spokesman calls the suit ”groundless.”… Alleging deceptive practices, the Federal Trade Commission and the state of Florida filed lawsuits Feb. 13 and 14, respectively, against Psychic Readers Network — colorfully fronted by TV’s ”Miss Cleo.” The firm could owe up to $10,000 per customer, says the Florida Attorney General’s office. Psychic Readers didn’t return calls.

DEATHS Actor Kevin Smith, 38, who played Ares, God of War, on Xena: Warrior Princess, of head injuries from an accidental fall, Feb. 15, in Beijing….National Book Award winner Virginia Hamilton, 65, whose 1967 debut, Zeely, was a benchmark in African-American kid lit, of breast cancer, Feb. 19, in Dayton, Ohio….News pioneer Howard K. Smith, 87, who covered WWII for CBS and moderated 1960’s Kennedy-Nixon debate, of pneumonia, Feb. 15, in Bethesda, Md. Smith played a TV reporter in Nashville and Close Encounters of the Third Kind….Country Outlaw Waylon Jennings, 64, of complications from diabe-tes, Feb. 13, in Chandler, Ariz.
