Remember when punk was political? Fifteen-year-old Bad Religion haven’t forgotten, even in an age when punk equals frat-house jokes like blink-182. Nor has their long history diminished their righteousness or velocity. On The Process of Belief the news this time is catchier melodies and more breathlessly clever wordplay than the band has managed in years. Their worldview may remain hobbled by unnuanced lefty ideology, but these days, we should be thankful they have any ideology at all.
