NYC’s Suite 16 is pouring Sour Apple Chupatinis, featuring tasty Chupa Chups lollipops in place of swizzle sticks. ”Chupa Chups are super in-style right now,” says Chrissie Miller, special events coordinator at Suite 16. The brainchild of the lounge’s promotional director, Noah Tepperberg, the candy/cocktail combo is even scoring with pop people: Actress Ali Larter and hotel heiresses Paris and Nicky Hilton are Chupatini devotees. The drink ”fits very well with our brand,” says Jordi Ferré, Chupa Chups VP of U.S. marketing. ”It caters to what we call a ‘Chupa crowd’—a highly social, very cool group of people.” Sweet.
