DON’T STOP ‘TIL YOU GET ‘N SYNC It’s apparently very hard to say no to Michael Jackson. ”Grueling” is the word ‘N Sync‘s Joey Fatone used, referring to his quintet’s request to pull out of Jackson’s self-tribute concerts this week because the band would be too busy preparing for the MTV Video Music Awards (also this week) to rehearse the ”Dancing Machine” number with Jackson. But ‘N Sync were able to rearrange their schedule, and they’re back in the shows. The reversal marks the second time a performer has dropped out and returned to the shows; last month, Jermaine Jackson made noise about sitting out his brother’s concerts but signed the contract weeks later….
HECHE HITCHED Anne Heche married cameraman Coley Laffoon on Saturday in a ceremony at a Los Angeles villa before about 75 guests. (Presumably, Heche’s former longtime companions, Ellen DeGeneres and Steve Martin were not on the guest list.) They reportedly began dating last October, a couple months after Heche’s break-up with DeGeneres, and became engaged in May. Their honeymoon will have to wait, however; after ABC airs Barbara Walters’ interview with Heche tomorrow night, she’s going on a 10-day book tour to promote her new memoir, ”Call Me Crazy.”

Chuck Norris can take on multiple bad guys at once in his bare feet, but can he change two diapers simultaneously? The 61-year-old former ”Walker, Texas Ranger” star and wife Gena, 33, became the parents of fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, on Thursday. Though Dakota Alan and Danilee Kelley were born a month prematurely, there were no complications, Norris’ publicist said. The twins are the first children for the couple since their marriage in 1988. Both have children from previous marriages.
