Samuel L. Jackson, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

When you’re managing a multibillion dollar toy franchise, maybe you don’t have time to come up with cool titles. George Lucas, through his ”Star Wars” website, announced Aug. 6 that the official name for ”Episode II” is ”Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones.” Uh… okay. ”It,” the site goes on to say (though we’re not sure whether ”it” is the ”Clone” title or the movie itself) ”harkens back to the sense of pure fun, imagination and excitement that characterized the classic movie serials and pulp space fantasy adventures that inspired the ‘Star Wars’ saga.”
