‘WIND’ IN HIS SALES
Ah, summer. Readers, it’s time to engage in a little safe sex on the beach. Plenty of people packed E. Lynn Harris’ new novel, about beautiful buppies making mischief in Manhattan, into their weekend totes. Any Way the Wind Blows (255,000 copies in print after three pressruns) debuts at a sunny No. 2 this week. Harris, one of the harder working men on the book-tour circuit, will meet and greet his fan base in a 20-city promotional swing. Meanwhile, Nick Hornby wants to make another list. His novel, How to Be Good, sits at No. 11. In another week, he could reach the top five.
