The rap wars may be heating up again. On the eve of his release from jail after serving nearly five years for violating probation for an assault conviction, hip hop impresario Marion ”Suge” Knight has launched a new offensive against rival Sean ”Puffy” Combs. Actually, against Combs’ ex Jennifer Lopez. This month, Knight announced a midsummer release of a video, ”Suge Knight’s Tha Real Story: Down Low With J. Lo and P. Diddy.”

At the same time, the Star alleged Knight had a tape of the ”Angel Eyes” actress gettin’ it on with a former beau (not Combs). Lopez’s lawyers filed a lawsuit May 11 to block distribution of any unauthorized sex video. In a statement, Knight’s attorney insisted his client has no tape with sexually explicit content.

So what’s on ”Real Story”? Knight’s reps are coy, but the packaging promises an uncensored ”reenacted” look into the stormy relationship between music’s Bad Boy and girl. Meanwhile, J. Lo’s team denies reports she’s dropped her suit. ”We’re still in court to find out the exact nature of this new tape,” says Larry Stein, her lawyer. Who says love don’t cost a thing?
