When a roomful of divas gets together, glamour is sure to follow. And at April 10’s ”VH1 Divas Live: The One and Only Aretha Franklin,” style mavens didn’t disappoint. ”It’s very cool to come to this and get down with my bad self,” says presenter Sigourney Weaver, in a black Marc Bouwer tank and matching beaded pants. ”The Sopranos”’ Edie Falco shed her Jersey housewife persona and debuted her choppy bob with a curvy shirtdress and bondage style stilettos from Gucci.

Mary J. Blige and Angie Harmon both stepped out in Dolce & Gabbana (Harmon’s fiancé Jason Sehorn likened her metal accented pants to a ”chain link fence”), while songstress Nelly Furtado chose comfort over style when she paired a strapless dress with sneakers, trilling ”I’m a diva in trainers!” But perhaps beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder: When asked what item any self respecting diva cannot live without, ”Will & Grace”’s Eric McCormack (in a natty John Varvatos suit) quips, ”I imagine, a mirror.”
