Does the granddaughter also rise? Mariel Hemingway will make her directorial debut with the film version of grandpapa Ernest‘s A Moveable Feast, a fictionalized memoir published posthumously in 1964. ”I’ve been working on the script for several years,” says the actress. ”I really feel this is something I have a vision for. The story’s about my grandfather in Paris in the ’20s. My father took me to Paris when I was 11 to [visit] all the places [Ernest] wrote about.” There’s no casting yet, but Hemingway hopes for a prestrike Paris shoot this spring.
