Barneys New York

THE BAG The chichi department store’s minimalist black and silver. THE LOOK Versatile. Black goes with any outfit and it’s so slimming. GRADE B+ Black is the new black.

Victoria’s Secret

THE BAG The undie emporium’s girly pink-and-white number. THE LOOK Candyland meets Weight Watchers. GRADE C- Horizontal stripes just ain’t sexy.

Prada Sport

THE BAG The Italian line’s gray nylon bag with white logo. THE LOOK It feels like a shower curtain, but those five magic letters spell money. GRADE A- The ultimate gym bag.

Abercrombie & Fitch

THE BAG The hipster outfitter’s sexy pretty boys and girls. THE LOOK Fashion photographer Bruce Weber’s trademark raciness. GRADE B Not your mother’s shopping bag.

THE BAG The Brit shop’s suddenly red-hot plaid package. THE LOOK Preppy meets high tea. GRADE A- We’d give it an A but that plaid won’t work with your Dior saddlebag.

Tiffany & Co.

THE BAG The jewelry mecca’s discreet-but-distinct robin’s-egg blue, in use since 1837. THE LOOK Classics never go out of style. GRADE A Just like diamonds, it’s a lunch-toting girl’s best friend.
