Nobody Wants to be Lonely

Sporting a newly tacked-on partner (Aguilera) and pumped-up Latin percussion, this track from Martin’s stalled Sound Loaded is transformed from a sullen romantic proposition to a full-scale power duet. Either way, it’s little more than efficient hackwork from cowriter-producer Desmond Child. On the Child scale, it’s halfway between the wretched ”How Can We Be Lovers” and the eternal ”Livin’ on a Prayer.” C+
